Great homestead dairy prospects here. All dams tested negative for
CAE. Some are bottle raised and others are dam raised. We do not raise
for show, but select for ease of hand milking (ie teat size) , nice
high udders that do not break down, and sweet tasting milk.
We used two flashy Chamoise bucks this year (see photos at bottom of
page) Both are from high producing lines:
Beniesoit Moose LonRouge of Paige Garrett's herd. Moose is
a registered American Alpine. Ms Garrett does show her goats and in
fact , Moose and Moose's twin sister can be seen at http://boonecompanions.tripod.com/boone-companions/id5.html
Mamm-Key Grand Slam Denver, another registered American Alpine
is out of the famous Mamm-Key line in Colorado (and these folks show
too!) You can see his sire at http://www.mammkey.com/ty.htm
Also have some adult does for sale. Pictures and pedigrees are available
upon request for specific animals. Just write us at hmffarm@fidnet.com
A 50% deposit is expected to hold a goat for you.
