All Missouri Spring Spin In at the town square
in Chillecothe , Mo. This yearly event draws together
the healthy spinning community of Missouri and beyond. Look for
spinning games and competitions, vendors and lots of fun!
I will be attending this event myself and look forward to spinning
with all my friends.
April 30 - May 1, 2005 Spring Fling at Arcadia Academy,
Arcadia Mo. this is the 2nd year for this up and coming festival
placed in the southeast part of Missouri. Absolutely awesome location
dripping with history and character (it is on the National Historic
Register of Haunted Places... no kidding!) ... great
food at the on-site restaurant... HUGE antique mall... B&B
or hostel accomodations... Try it , you'll like it! HMFF
will be teaching workshops on Rainbow Dye Techniques and Spinning
a Designer Mohair Yarn. The organizer of this event is a
potter and has designed some lovely trophies for the fleece and
fiber arts competitions... in fact , there are many unique
touches to this festival that will set it apart from other
Missouri fiber events! Keep an eye on this one! For more
