Dyeing bunnywool is easy if you know the tricks. It dyes beautifully into soft pastel shades.

1. wet the bunnywool first, adding a bit of detergent to the wetting water, before dropping in the dyebath

2. use protein dyes (like for wool or mohair)

3. save net produce bags (like onion bags) to contain the bunnywool. Tie with a twist-tie. Drop in the dyebath with other fleeces or yarns

4. after the dyed bunny is dry, you can pick it open by hand and restore all the fluffiness.
