Seasons Bleatings! - February 2006
Breeding season has just started in
the HMFF Rabbitry!
The first matings
have taken place , but there are no babies to announce just yet. I hope to
have some happy news in the March newsletter.
I have had
numerous requests for rabbits since the holidays and regret that I had none to
offer you just yet... So, in the meantime, I would like to pass on this
opportunity which just came to my attention:
My friend,
Linda, who has French Angoras out of many of the same lines as my
rabbits, is selling out her rabbitry. She is selling rabbits and cages...
this is a great opportunity to get some top notch breeders. Contact Linda
at littlefarm55@hotmail.com for
more information
ABYSINIAN GUINEA
PIGS
Born 1-13-06 to a solid red sow and
spotted boar (from a Texas breeder) Red/white , Red/white, Dun/white
, White solid
these are wonderful pets for the kids... easier to
handle and do not bite (or smell) like hamsters or mice.
The Abysinian is characterized by multiple
"cow-licks" and come in a variety of colors and patterns. They make the
nicest little sounds... kind of reminds me of that old Star Trek episode called
"The Trouble with Tribbles" ... remember that? They purr and squeak
and cuddle and respond well to handling.
Will be weaned on Feb. 24th. $20 each
