Storm clouds gather mid-day over the rabbitry in unusual January tornado weather

Last month had so much up and down weather! Single digits one week and 70 degrees the next. The warm days we had felt good, but spawned spring-like weather patterns. Tornadoes and heavy thunderstorms pelted much of Missouri . No serious damage at the farm other than the driveway which suffered from the torrential rains (4 inches on one night). I am always afraid the tin on the top of the rabbit cages will blow off... so they are all strapped down with bungee cords and mule tape! My latest motto : "Keep a weather eye on the horizon" - Pirates of the Carribean I guess I should be thankful it wasn't cold... we would have had to deal with massive snowfall!
