Seasons Bleatings - February GOATS

"The birds are gone, The ground is white,
The winds are wild, They chill and bite;
The ground is thick with slush and sleet,
And I can barely feel my feet."

For Sale

Two exposed red cashgora doe kids... coming yearlings.   Soon it will be time to comb out their downy coats!  Both were exposed first to our meat buck, Pinto Machismo (the spotted buck below)... then later put in with the angora group with availability to colored bucks.    $80 each or $150 for the two of them.

Twin Pygmy does for sale: Born in 2006.  Red one is pregnant and bagging up.  The roan one lost her twins in the bad weather... so she is open.  Both were exposed to Pinto Machismo below.   Pregnant doe $125  Open doe $85... or take them both together for $200

222y HMFF Pinto Machismo - a spotted 7/8 yearling Boer buck born in March of 2006 out of TTT Pinto Macho (a spectacular big-boned pinto'd Boer) and HMFF Euruba (solid red, prolific and fast maturing line with TriQuest in her pedigree)  I used this guy on my Boer girls this fall and he bred them all in short order... and I just LOVE his spots!  He's quite a character too. Easy to handle. I'd kind of like to keep him, but have two other terrific bucks waiting their turn at the herd... so...... I will offer him for sale. He's too pretty to eat!  $300

HMF Ebene Eclipse is a registered (ADGA papers included) French Alpine buck born in 2006 out of Beniesoit TateTristan and HMFF Cozette . This is kind of a goofy picture of him, but was taken recently. The brown on his forelegs and nose is urine stain... he has been an eager beaver this fall 8>)   He has a round white spot on his far side and a crescent moon on the side facing. I use him on a few of my does this year.  I think he is going to grow out real pretty... and his mom has a super udder!  $200

 171y HMFF Herschel - brown angora yearling buck with a dense fine fleece. Born March '06 out of IndianSprings Awesome (brown registered) and HMFF Clementine (dark brown).  Would pass inspection . 5 generation pedigree provided. $300 ($250 after shearing)

 211y White yearling angora wether out of I.S. Awesome (CAGBA registered)  and HMFF Camille (CAGBA registered). Recommended for fleece or hide production. $75  [photo on request]
