Thinking ahead to fall breeding
season
The best way to improve the fleeces in your herd is to
put a good ram on your ewes. Use him for at least two seasons... maybe
three! Keep the female offspring. Begin weeding out the
original ewes. Most of the rams below are proven, with excellent
fleeces and stylish conformation. To add fineness choose a high percentage
BFL. For uniform character and staple length choose a Border Leicester For
a rare color pattern PLUS a fabulous fleece choose the Hybrid Leicester
below.
