ART IN THE GARDEN - Inspiration from Nature

A new shawl is in the works and it looks like an english garden!

It is made primarily from lambswool and bunnywool, but also contains some mohair.

The fuzziness of the bunny and mohair is going to give it a "Monet-like" dreamy character

Colors in the new shawl are inspired by the flowers in my mother's garden: a riot of pink

and blue, peach and red, sunny yellows and every green imaginable!

This 100% natural colored mohair vest looks as if it drew its variagated coloring from the bark of the tree it hangs on!

...and this woven belt shares the same colors as the leaves on this shrub

A jumbo knit scarf of loopy, tailspun mohair spills out of a tree stump

...and a woolen shawl drapes softly below a clematis that is ready to bloom!
