Colored Angora Goat Salelist
Angora kids are a great investment.

Do the math:  Any goat these days is worth about $1 per pound at auction just for meat. The angora carries additional value in his fleece. Those first four clips from a colored angora goat are worth about $30-50 each.  Add to this, his value as a sire.  All this adds up to mean that your buck will more than pay for himself within two years.

The case for wethers : If your interest is just in a fiber flock for yourself, wethers are the way to go! They waste no energy on hormonal demands... they just grow beautiful mohair that stays fine long into maturity.  Even if you only keep them through the first four to five clips, they will be paying for themselves over and over. If you sell them at two years of age and approx 80-100 pounds, you will make $80-100 back on them in additional to $160 in mohair. You can't lose!

So here's the deal:  I have a bumper crop of buck kids this year.  I am willing to offer any of the kids below either intact (at the stated price) OR wethered at half price! Every one of these kids is going to be nice and I won't mind keeping them around for awhile if only to get their fleeces, but I will not keep them intact for long. So if you are interested in a buck kid for a good price, contact me asap at hmffarm@fidnet.com   I can send photos and additional info on any goats you may be interested in.

Want to save even more? Take a look at the package deals on does with kids at side. I have reduced them by another $25 when taken as a pair.

Goats marked with an asterik are registered by birth and come with papers.  Those not marked, are out of one unregistered parent and will need to be inspected for their registry at one year of age per CAGBA requirements. I fully expect any one of these kids to meet all requirements for registry.
