look at those curly
feathers!Hope to have some Sebastopol goslings next
summer. Those curly feathers put me in mind of the old fashioned German
Feather Trees.. The technique just looks to be a version of core spinning:
Goose feathers on stiff wire. Hmmmmm.
I looked up Feather Trees on the internet and found
these sources... both with history of the German Feather Trees and one that
offers reasonably priced kits. I might look into making some of these from
my geese someday. Looks like fun!
