Certification Program
Langston University has an extensive and
excellent web based program for meat goat producers that covers everything
from breeds to fencing to nutrition to disease and much more. If you wish
to be tested and receive a certificate of completion after taking the course

A recent study on Natural Parasite
Control concluded that grazing goats on forages with condensed tannins
like sericea lespedeza, reduced fecal egg counts, larval development and worm
burden and also appeared to enhance immune response. Their research was on
angora goats, one of the most parasite prone breeds of goats.
