OVERVIEW
I
have been intensively studying the development of the Colored Angora goat since
1992, although have raised fiber goats, sheep & rabbits since 1990.. Although
my primary interest has been CAG breeding ,research and accumulation of data,
I also raise Alpine dairy goats, Boer cross meat goats, and have numerous goat
contacts throughout the U.S. I am a spinner and weaver, a published writer, and
have been active on both sides of the show ring. I have worked as a mentor with
our local 4-H club goat projects. I have traveled with goats and educational materials
to many of the major fiber festivals over the years and enjoyed speaking both
to groups and one on one with numerous breeders and fiber artists. We market both
livestock, fleeces and value-added products from our farm in Missouri; and in
my spare time I work at my "other" job as a Respiratory Therapist.
